Stop Windows 10 From Automatic Deleting Thumbnail Cache
The thumbnail cache (as well as the icon cache) are stored in the following folder: C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer Note: Replace Your_Username with the actual username of the account. Now the problem is that Windows seems to automatically delete the thumbnail cache file after every restart or shut down which creates a problem for users.
